The Legends And Those Behind The Legends Have Passed Away

Music, Theater, and Movie Magic have all been immortalized with these artists.

These brave people have passed away this week: David Bowie, who was the architect of music and art; then The Magic Man Alan Rickman from the “Harry Potter” films, and his movie and theater legacy, to now the producer Rene Dion, who gave the world the French Canadian sensation Celine Dion.

Bowie was more than just a singer, songwriter, Actor, father, and artist, he had an eternal fascination with space. He was intrigued by it so much that he wrote songs about it, one in particular the song “Space Oddity.” One thing is certain, wherever he roams now like he stated about his journey it has been nothing but boring.

Thanks for the music, and films (“The Man Who Fell To Earth,” “The Prestige,” and “The Labyrinth,” just to name a few, and for daring to be different.

Rickman was discovered by American audiences in his 40’s, but he had already built his career through British stage and TV. In the US, Rickman was known as Bruce Willis’ villain in the first “Die Hard” – back in 1988 – and then he was the inspiration for J.K. Rowling’s Professor Snape. Rowling stated in an interview that when she envisioned Snape it was to be played by Rickman. Rickman, as you know became the anti-hero for everyone all over the world in the “Harry Potter” films.

Rene Dion, Celine Dion’s husband and producer, arguably helped to catapult her career. While Celine did do it on her own, she had help, support, love, loyalty, and a rock in her husband of many years. The two were almost inseparable since his diagnosis. They will continue to love each other.

We will miss them all.
